Total weight 637 grams Total length 39.3 cm Fork Length 33.8 cm Standard Length 30.7 cm D1 VII D2 I, 31 A1 II, A2 I,20 P1 I, 19 P1 length 51.8 mm D2 max fin height 53.9 mm D2 fin height as percentage of fork length 5.39/33.8 = 15.9 % (For S. carpenteri percentage is 15-18%) Ratio fin height to P1 length is 53.9/51.8 = 1.04 Gill raker count on both left & right side: LL 17 + 1 rudiment UL 7 + 1 rudiment - total not counting rudiments is 24 (From Fishes of the North-eastern Atlantic & the Mediterranean Vol. II page 837 Seriola carpenteri - total gill rakers excluding rudiments on first gill arch 19-23 Seriola dumerili - total gill rakers excluding rudiments on first gill arch 11 -19) I attach a digital photo of Andy Le Prevost's fish.
