The British Marine Life Study Society was formed in June 1990 and the first issue of Glaucus was published in September 1990. The Shorewatch Project commenced under the current name in January 1995, and Torpedo Electronic News in August 1996.
References in the Shorewatch Newsletter are
preceded by the initials SW, but otherwise they operate on the same system
as Glaucus. The first two digits indicate the volume, the second
two the issue, and the last two digits are the page numbers:
